National Technology Audit Programme - Ireland
The National Technology Audit Programme (Ireland) is a national programme designed to help Irish manufacturers exploit more effectively the technological and commercial opportunities available to them. The programme, which is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is administered by Forbairt, the Irish State Development Agency. The programme is essentially aimed at small companies - employing less than 50 people and with an annual turnover of less than 3 million Irish pounds. By the end of 1995, more than 650 companies had accessed the programme. A similar programme, based on the Irish experience, has also been launched in Greece as a result of collaboration between the national state development bodies.
