European competences in uncertainty management - The ECUME database
ERUDIT, the European network in uncertainty techniques developments for use in information technology, an ESPRIT Network of Excellence, has established a database of European competences in uncertainty management (ECUME). The ECUME database is designed to help companies and researchers looking for information about European competences in uncertainty management and fuzzy and other intelligent technologies. In addition, it can also be used to find partners in the sector. The database contains descriptions of teams at universities and in industry interested in, and working in, uncertainty management. Information includes present activities, interests and potential contributions to ERUDIT. The database can be consulted by anybody, within or outside Europe, on the World Wide Web. A questionnaire enables academic or industrial researchers working in the area to add their own information to the database. The addition of new members in this way will also extend the ERUDIT network of excellence.
