The European Commission, DG XVI, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of technical support for the analysis and evaluation of specific initiatives co-financed by the Structural Funds available for regions which are lagging behind in their development (Objective 1 regions). The call relates specifically to actions undertaken in Greece and Portugal. The organization selected for the purpose of this call will be responsible for setting up and managing a responsive and professional service capable of analysing and evaluating specific operational problems. The tenderer must be linked to a network of qualified experts with the necessary experience in relation to initiatives involving Structural Funds in both countries in question, and capable of delivering the service within the specified deadlines. The technical support will be a specialized service set up on a temporary basis and the Commission will be solely responsible for disposing of the contents of the information produced.
