An exhibition held in Brussels, in April 1996, allowed those involved in vocational training to see and discuss products developed under Community vocational training programmes. The exhibition, organized jointly by the European Commission and the Flemish coordination office for the LEONARDO DA VINCI action programme, showed a large number of products developed in projects funded by the Commission in the field of vocational training. The aim was to demonstrate how innovative products can benefit from Community support, and to encourage the development of new products through these same channels, as well as the use of these products. A number of workshops held in parallel to the exhibition discussed topics of interest to those considering developing products under Community-funded projects. These included: - Copyright and legal issues; - Marketing, distribution and sales; - The transferability of multimedia; - Dissemination as an integral part of training projects; - The impact of European research in vocational education and training. Reports of the workshops and details of the exhibitors and participants have now been published by the European Commission.
