The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of operational services in the framework of the Community's INFO2000 programme which aims to stimulate the development of a European multimedia content industry and to encourage the use of multimedia content in the emerging Information Society.

Services to be provided will include the coordination of a multimedia demonstration network, the creation of awareness material, the management of a WWW server and database service and a multilingual help desk.

The duration of the contract will be for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension on a year-by-year basis for a maximum of two more years.
