Guidelines for the creation of a European R&D consortium
The SME Coordination Unit in DG XII of the European Commission has published a short booklet entitled "Guidelines for the creation of a European R&D consortium". The aim of the booklet is to provide advice to SMEs on how to find partners for participation in Community-funded research projects. In addition to advice on finding partners, the booklet contains information on partnership agreements and outlines possible drawbacks and pitfalls of cross-border collaboration. The booklet is of particular interest to SMEs interested in participating in the CRAFT cooperative research scheme, one of the Technology Stimulation Measures for SMEs being implemented under the Fourth Framework Programme.
