TACIS action programme for Ukraine 1996
The European Commission has adopted the 1996 TACIS action programme for the Ukraine. The TACIS programme provides assistance to the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union and Mongolia. The 1996 action programme for the Ukraine will provide ECU 27.35 million to assist and accelerate the transition of the Ukraine towards a market economy. Cooperative actions in three areas will be supported under this programme: - Institutional reform and development; - Private sector development; - Energy reform and development.
