TED - Community tenders service now available on WWW
The European Commission Host Organization (ECHO) has recently launched a World Wide Web gateway to TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), the on-line version of the S (supplement) series of the Official Journal of the European Communities which contains details of calls for tenders and calls for proposals launched by the European Commission and other European institutions. The TED service contains the text of calls for proposals launched by Community programmes in fields such as research, environment, culture and audiovisual. It also contains service contracts offered by the Commission for studies and evaluations. In addition, the TED database includes details of all sizeable tenders offered by public authorities from across the European Union. TED is updated daily and contains all details of tenders including the closing dates and contact details for further information.
