Transport RTD programme - Evaluation guidelines
The European Commission, DG VII, has made the evaluation guidelines for the specific RTD programme in the field of Transport available on the World Wide Web. The guidelines are those used by the independent evaluators, who make a selection of proposals on merit which are then submitted to the programme management committee. In publishing the guidelines, the Commission hopes that potential proposers will have a better idea of the evaluation procedures undertaken by the programme. Proposers will also be more aware of the points which the evaluators will be looking for, and have a clearer idea of how proposals should be completed. In this way, it is hoped that publication of the guidelines will lead to higher standards of proposals, and fewer proposals rejected because of poor quality.
