Energy in Europe - Special issues
The European Commission, DG XVII, has published two special issues of "Energy in Europe", its magazine which highlights current issues in energy policy in Europe. The special issues are: - The 1996 Annual Energy Review: Provides comprehensive details of energy consumption around the world, including breakdowns of energy source, fuel mix, and prices, as well as production, CO2 emissions and energy uses; - European Energy to 2020 - A scenario approach: Presents a number of scenarios of the development of energy supply/demand and policies in 2020, based on different models of market liberalization and technological developments in the sourcing and supply of energy.
