Video on EU regional policy
The European Commission, DG XVI, has produced a video entitled "Europe of the regions", which gives an introduction to the EU's regional policy. The video aims to provide a brief introduction to the rationale behind the EU's regional policy and the benefits which will accrue from it. The film uses examples of regions facing severe economic and social problems to show how the regional policy is helping them. The video, which comes in all 11 Community languages and a variety of formats, may be used by teachers, libraries and people working in local and regional authorities, in order to explain the regional policies to businessmen, students and members of the general public.
