SAVE II programme - Dissemination activities
The European Commission, DG XVII, has published a call for expressions of interest in relation to dissemination activities for the promotion of energy efficiency in the European Community. The Commission, within the framework of the SAVE II programme, wishes to establish a list of possible candidates to carry out specific dissemination activities. These activities will be requested by the Commission in the field of promoting energy efficiency. Such events will consist of, but will not be limited to, conferences, seminars, contractors' workshop meetings, participation in marketing activities and publications. The European Commission is seeking companies or organizations who have a substantial track record in the organization of successful events in the field of energy efficiency promotion and in energy management at national, regional and local level. The profile of potential candidates will include the following: - a) The organization or company may be international, national, regional or local, but must be a recognized legal entity capable of entering into a contract with the Commission; - b) Candidates must have at least four years' experience in organizing successful local, regional, national or international events for the promotion of energy efficiency and energy management; - c) Candidates must have a demonstrable in-house capacity to complete all functions associated with the organization of events, including the production of proceedings.
