INFO2000 - Information for Geographic Information sector
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an open invitation to tender concerning information and communications WEB support for the Geographic Information (GI) area of the INFO2000 programme for the development of a multimedia content industry and the use of multimedia content in Europe. Three main categories of action are involved: - 1) Monitoring of the Geographic Information activities; - 2) Development and maintenance of the GIWEB section; - 3) Communication with the GI community. The contract will last for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for two further 12-month periods.
