HCM Annual Report 1994/95
The European Commission, DG XII, has published the annual report of the Human Capital and Mobility (HCM) research programme for the year 1994/95. The objectives of the HCM programme were to contribute to a qualitative and quantitative increase in human resources engaged in research and development in Europe. The programme funding was used for training grants, research networks and access to large-scale facilities, as well as Euroconferences and other accompanying measures. The annual report provides a comprehensive overview of all the research areas supported by the HCM programme. It is published in two volumes: - Volume 1: Mathematics and information sciences, physics and chemistry; - Volume 2: Life sciences, earth sciences, engineering sciences, economic, social and human sciences, and large-scale facilities. In addition to detailing the research activities funded, the report also gives contact information for institutions and researchers involved. The activities of the HCM programme are now undertaken by the Training and Mobility of Researchers (TMR) programme under the Fourth Framework Programme.
