Electronic forum on cohesion
The European Commission, DG XVI, is launching an electronic forum on the Europa Web server with the aim of generating the widest possible debate on economic and social cohesion in the EU. The electronic forum, through which members of the public may read or contribute messages and comments, will focus on three broad topics: - The top priorities of the EU for cohesion: how successful have policies been and how can they be improved; - Reduction of development gaps: the contribution of the EU's cohesion and other policies to competitiveness and employment; - Policy implementation: value added by the EU's cohesion policies.
