Symposium proceedings: "Environmental Biotechnology 1991"
The "Proceedings of the Environmental Biotechnology symposium, Ostend, 22-25 April 1991", are now available. Held by the Working Party for Environmental Biotechnology of the European Federation of Biotechnology, under the auspices of the European Environmental Research Organization (EERO) and the Commission of the European Communities, the symposium comprised a series of 50 lectures by experts in the fields of biotechnology and environmental research. Topics range from nitrogen transformations, hazardous and organic waste treatment, soil depollution, to public awareness and the socio-economic impact of biotechnology in developing countries.
