The European Commission, DG III, has launched an invitation to tender for the provision of telematics services within the framework of the Interchange of Data between Administrations (IDA) programme. The tender is for the procurement of services for analysis, design, development, training and support for functional and technological upgrade of the IT system supporting Directive 83/189 on "Norms and Technical Regulations". Specific actions within this framework contract have to be provided on request. Full details of the work to be carried out can be found in the tender specifications, which may be obtained from the Commission. The contract will be undertaken at the contractor's usual workplace and at the Commission's premises. Some on-site work at the central units in the Member States may also be necessary.
