All higher education institutions eligible to participate in the ERASMUS chapter of SOCRATES should note that the deadline for the submission of all Institutional Contract proposals for 1998/1999 (formerly 1 July 1997) has been postponed to 15 November 1997. This postponement applies both to applications to renew Institutional Contracts awarded for 1997/1998 and to applications to establish new Institutional Contracts. Application forms for 1998/1999 Institutional Contracts (new applications and renewals) will be available on the SOCRATES site on the EUROPA WWW server, by the end of May 1997. Paper and electronic versions will be available in June. The forms will initially be available in English only, with other language versions being provided subsequently. Application forms will include a model bilateral agreement.
