The Council and European Parliament have adopted a Decision adding additional projects to the list of projects of common interest for the trans-European energy networks. The additional projects, which take account of developments since the Commission's initial proposal for the energy TENs, are as follows: Electricity networks: - Connection of isolated networks to European interconnected networks: . United Kingdom (connection to Isle of Man); - Development of interconnections between Member States: . France- Germany; . Spain-Portugal; . Ireland-United Kingdom (Northern Ireland); . Austria-Germany; . Netherlands-United Kingdom; - Development of internal connections necessary to make best use of interconnections between Member States: . Italy; . Ireland; . Spain; . Sweden; . Germany; - Development of interconnections with third countries in Europe and the Mediterranean: . Germany-Poland; . Greece-Balkan States; . United Kingdom-Norway; . Sweden-Norway; . EU-Belarus-Russia-Ukraine; Gas networks: - Introduction of natural gas into new regions: .Portugal; - Connection of isolated gas networks to the interconnected European networks: . France-Spain; . France; . Austria-Germany; . Austria-Hungary; . Austria-Slovakia; . Austria; . Greece-Albania; - Increasing reception and storage capacities: . France; . Spain; .
