MAST III programme - Call for proposals for supporting initiatives
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a call for proposals for supporting initiatives within the specific RTD programme for Marine Science and Technology (MAST). Proposals are invited for RTD actions in the following areas of the MAST Work Programme: Area D: Supporting initiatives: - D.2: Standards for training and work; - D.3: Modelling, ocean data management and quality control for research and operational applications; - D.4: Use of heavy experimental equipment, search vessels and their modular equipment, large computing facilities and other technical resources in the European Economic Area; - D.5: Design of components and systems for heavy, advanced equipment; - D.6: Calibration techniques and standards for marine instrumentation and observational equipment. Research activities will be addressed by shared cost actions, concerted actions and preparatory, accompanying and support measures. Community financial support can be made available to facilitate participation by entities from the Central and Eastern European countries, the former Soviet Union and developing countries. Proposers should obtain copies of the latest editions of the Information Package and Work Programme from the Commission before preparing proposals.
