Financing of vocational training systems in Azerbaijan and Belarus
The European Training Foundation (Turin) has published an invitation to tender for the award of a service contract for a small-scale project investigating the financing of vocational training systems in Azerbaijan and Belarus. The contract will involve comparing different VET financing systems and models with those currently applied in Azerbaijan and Belarus, increasing project planning skills of the partner countries' experts and allowing them to take informed decisions about the most viable options for VET financing in their countries. Services are to be provided both in the EU Member States and in Azerbaijan and Belarus. Activities are expected to start in December 1997 and will last for a period of eight months. Tenderers will be required to demonstrate their professional and technical capacities, in particular: - Their practical experience of VET systems and their ability to provide a wide range of expertise in various European VET financing systems; - Their experience in working in the partner countries; - Their experience in training staff from different cultural backgrounds.
