The Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT) has published an invitation to tender for the provision of services relating to the framework programme for priority actions in the field of statistical information (1993-1997).

The services required relates to the specific field of geographical information systems. The contract is divided into five lots (specified in the tender documents):

- Lot 1. Technical support, advisory activities in the field of geographical information systems;
- Lot 2. Architecture for the reference environment;
- Lot 3. Revision of the content and updating of the GISCO database;
- Lot 4. Spatial analysis works, preparation of workshops and seminars;
- Lot 5. Cartography works.

Companies may tender for one, several or all lots. Tenders for parts of lots are not permitted.
