RAPHAEL programme - Calls for proposals for European cultural heritage projects
The European Commission, DG X, has launched five calls for proposals for preparatory actions within the Community action programme in the field of European cultural heritage, RAPHAEL. The five calls concern respectively: - Events and dissemination initiatives of a European dimension in favour of the preservation and increased awareness of a European cultural heritage; - Cooperation in developing thematic networks between European museums; - Further training and mobility of professionals in the field of European cultural heritage preservation; - Cooperation on the study, preservation and enhancement of decorated facades in Europe; - Cooperation proposals to study, preserve and enhance the European pre-industrial heritage. To be eligible for support, proposals for preparatory actions under these calls must involve participants from at least three countries, two of which must be EU Member States. Participation is also possible by organizations from Central and Eastern European states associated to the programme, as well as Malta, Cyprus, Norway and Iceland. Community funding may not exceed 50% of the costs of the project. Those interested in responding to these calls should obtain a copy of the Official Journal in which the calls were published, which contains full details of the areas of interest.
