Call for proposals - Community action plan to combat cancer
The European Commission, DG V, has published a call for proposals within the framework of the Community action plan to combat cancer. The Commission is seeking proposals for projects from public or private bodies and organizations, in the following areas of the programme: - A: Data collection and research; - B: Information and health education; - C: Early detection and screening; - D: Training and quality control and guarantees. The Commission has adopted a work programme for 1998 which sets out the priorities within the programme. Projects must demonstrate added value at Community level, either by involving participation or activities in several Member States, or by developing a transferable application.
