Design Imaging is a project, supported by the Community's LEONARDO DA VINCI action programme, which aims to increase visibility and disseminate results of research in the design sector. Design Imaging is currently seeking information from RTD projects in the design sector, whether funded by the European Community, EUREKA or nationally. The output of such projects will be analysed, summarized and disseminated through a range of regional, national and international networks. In addition to helping information on such developments reach a wider spectrum of European SMEs, the project has a particular goal of predicting relevant associated training measures and actions required, and the ramifications on employment in the short, medium and long term. More detailed information on the project, the objectives and benefits, areas of impact, the dissemination model, anticipated results and the partnership can be found on the World Wide Web, at: http://www.eurocad.co.uk/ Coordinators (or partners) in a design-related RTD project, who want to explore how their project can benefit from this initiative, should contact Eurocad, the coordinator of the Design Imaging project. Similarly, organizations involved in training, employment and/or qualifications related to design (from either a functional or sectoral perspective) should contact Eurocad to see how they could gain from direct involvement.
