Technological solutions to overcome security obstacles to the deployment of health telematics
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an invitation to tender for the completion of study on technological solutions to overcome security obstacles to the deployment of health telematics. The purpose is to inform and develop methods of implementation of secure systems in health telematics. The study will survey and assess the potential of current technological solutions to allow healthcare telematics applications to fully comply with ethical and deontological codes, as well as legal requirements of security. The study will assess the further development needs for a high standard of security in the implementation of technological research in health care telematics.
