Call for projects to be cofinanced under the SYNERGY programme
The European Commission, DG XVII, has published a call for the submission of projects to be cofinanced under the Community's SYNERGY programme for international cooperation with non-member countries in the energy sector. The SYNERGY programme contributes to the objectives of the Commission's energy policy - global competitiveness, security of supply and protection of the environment. Apart from projects launched at the Community's initiative, the programme can also contribute financially to projects put forward by third parties. The present call is aimed at this latter type of project. Projects may be submitted by players in the energy sector, either from a Member State and/or from a non-member country.
