The European Commission, DG VI, has published an invitation to tender relating to the reorganization of the MARS Project data flow of ground and auxiliary information. The objective of the work to be carried out is to reorganize the MARS Project (Monitoring Agriculture by Remote Sensing) data flow of ground and auxiliary information at three levels: - Farmers' information (instead of field survey); - Regional information; - Integration and support level, for both yield and surface aspects. This will be closely related to the needs of the agro-meteorological models and earth observation operational processing chains. The relevant tender documentation may be requested from: European Commission DG VI - Agriculture Unit VI/A-2 - Quantitative analysis, statistics, forecasts, remote sensing Mr. S.
