Renewable biomaterials - Non-food research
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a brochure presenting selected aspects of the themes, projects, methods, applications and results of non-food research and development under the Community's agricultural research programmes (ECLAIR, AIR, FAIR). Given the large number of projects supported under these three programmes, the brochure concentrates on the two areas which are the least developed commercially: green chemicals and bioenergy. The publication was prepared in collaboration with the Non-Food Agro-Industrial Research Information Network (NF-AIRID).
