IDEALFIT - New Partner Search Concept
IDEALFIT is a new initiative aimed at helping companies and research institutes to find the right partner for participating in the ESPRIT programme. Behind the acronym are partners from 18 European countries, as well as Israel, pooling their local knowledge as National Contact Points. Each partner is already active in promoting ESPRIT in their own country. The project has developed a new partner search concept, working together and in coordination with existing activities such as CORDIS. Further information can be obtained from the national IDEALFIT partners, details of which may be found on the IDEALFIT homepage (see below). The IDEALFIT homepage also allows participants to monitor and communicate with the entire project on-line. A major action for interested potential proposers has been launched for the ESPRIT Information Day, on 29 September 1997, and EITC 97, the annual conference and exhibition organized by ESPRIT, on 24-26 November 1997. IDEALFIT will be present during these two major ESPRIT events, acting as a meeting and information point, aimed in particular at newcomers and potential consortias. The aim is to try to match interested partners, either before their arrival in Brussels or during their stay. Interested organizations have only to fill in a simple form, which is then circulated to each IDEALFIT partner to try and find close matches. Every organization which fills in the form will receive a response.
