A notice of invitation to tender for a project financed by the Commission of the European Communities concerns the consolidation and expansion of a measurement network for immissions (PHARE project No 90/058/030/001). In order to improve the database on current immissions, the immission measuring network in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt is to be developed and extended, especially in highly polluted areas. This involves the acquisition of 5 mobile measurement stations for Saxony (Lot 1) and four for Saxony-Anhalt (Lot 2), with requisite interfaces and software. They should be capable of measuring (as a minimum) dust, S02, NOx and CO. Participation is open on equal terms to natural and legal persons of the EC Member States and of the countries eligible for the PHARE programme.
