TMR Research training networks 1995-1996
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a book detailing the 96 research training networks selected for funding following the call for proposals launched in 1995 (OJ No C 12 of 17.1.1995 p. 22). Each of the networks funded started operating during 1996, and will run for three to four years. The main aim of these networks is the training of young European researchers in a transnational environment, while producing tangible scientific and technological results. The book gives a brief description of the scientific objectives and the training activities of each network. In addition, contacts in the 750 partners in the networks are included, from which interested readers may obtain fuller information on the networks' activities. The Commission will, during 1998, publish a book detailing the networks selected following the September 1996 call for proposals.
