The European Commission, DG X, has published a call for notice under the MEDIA II programme for development and distribution of European audiovisual works (MEDIA II - Development and distribution).

The call is intended for independent European production companies, which may receive Community financial support for:

- Promoting the development of production projects aimed in particular at the European market;
- Encouraging the development of production companies.

Companies wishing to respond to the call should obtain the "Guidelines for the submission of proposals to obtain Community financial support in the development sector" from the Commission.
Requests for the Guidelines should be addressed, in writing or by fax, to:
