MEDIA II - Support for distribution and dissemination of European films
The European Commission, DG X, has published a call for proposals notice relating to support for the distribution and dissemination of European audiovisual productions and films under the MEDIA II programme. The call is addressed to European companies whose activities contribute to the following objectives: - Reinforcement of the European distribution sector in the field of film and video productions (3.1); - Encouraging the transnational distribution of European films and the networking of agents (3.2); - Promoting the circulation of European television programmes (3.3); - Support for the multilingualism of audiovisual and film productions (3.4). Companies wishing to respond to this call should obtain the "Guidelines for submitting a proposal with a view to obtaining financial support for the distribution and dissemination of European audiovisual and film productions" from the Commission. Requests should note which of the above areas the guidelines are required for.
