EARSeL International Workshop on Remote Sensing of the Coastal Zone

The EARSeL (European Association of Remote Sensing Laboratories ) Special Interest Group on Remote Sensing of Coastal Zones is holding an International Workshop on 6-7 June 2003 at the University of Gent, Belgium.

The Workshop will include oral and poster presentations and round-table discussions. An exhibition of equipment and practical training courses are planned.,Topics will include: ,- physical dynamics of currents, tides, waves and sediment transport,,- morphodynamical processes and their relevance for coastal engineering,,- flux and transformation of seawater constituents including pollutants,,- interaction of phyical, biological and chemical conditions and processes,,- GIS and Coastal Zone Management
