Swedish launching conference on FP 6, Oct 10th, Stockholm

The EU Sixth Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration (2002-2006) represents an opportunity for Swedish researchers to participate in the most ambitious European research programme ever. It is a great opportunity to collaborate with European companies and research organisations at the cutting edge of technology and knowledge.,

To mark the beginning of FP6 there will be a major Swedish FP6 launching conference on the 10th of October 2002. The conference will take place in Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The conference is organised by the Swedish EU R&D-Council.
Among the speakers are several representatives from the European Commissionen DG Research: Richard Escritt, Bruno Hansen, Chris Patermann, Herbert von Bose, Nicholas Hartley, Peter Fisch, William Cannell, Raffale Liberali, Megan Richards. All the thematic areas will be covered, as well as Small and medium Enterprises, Human resources and Mobility, New and emerging science and technology and International cooperation.

Since its foundation in 1992 the Swedish EU-R&D Council promotes and coordinates the Swedish participation in the EU R&D framework programmes.,The Council is the National Contact Point, NCP, for the Fifth framework programme and is responsible for the information dissemination in Sweden.
