Environmental research in EUs 6th framework programme kick off-seminar in Norway

A national event will take place in Oslo on November 21st to kick off environmental research in EUs 6th framework programme: The Research Council of Norway is inviting researchers from universities, institutes and enterprises, as well as all other stakeholders, to a launching seminar dedicated to environmental research.

The topics to be covered:
· Introduction to the vision of a European Research Area and the role of FP6. ,· Focus on the explanation of the new instruments, which will contribute to the realisation of ERA.,· Research themes in relation to environmental questions, which will be addressed by representatives from the European Commission, National Contact Points and speakers from Norwegian Institutions. ,· National measures to support and assist proposers and participants in FP6 will be presented by the Research Council of Norway.
Some of the presentations will be held in English, some in Norwegian.
