The Association, which brings together Europe's major industrial gas turbine engine manufacturers, is intended to provide a forum for cooperation and the exchange of views. The aim is to identify common interests and encourage collaboration in the field of pre-competitive research and technology with a view to ensuring Europe's position as a world leader in the field. Member companies include Rolls Royce, ABB STAL, GHH BORSIG, European Gas Turbines, Turbomeca and Volvo - all manufacturers of aero derived and lightweight industrial gas turbines in the power range up to 50,000 kilowatts.
