FP 6 launch in Greece: Insight in Calls and Work Programmes

Thessaloniki 8 & Athens 9 January 2003, a few days after the official opening of the new Sixth Framework Programme, the HELP-FORWARD Network / FORTH is organizing two events to present the content of the first Calls and the objectives targeted in the Work Programmes of three major Priorities:

1.1.3. Nanotechnology and nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional materials, ,new production processes and devices,1.1.4. Aeronautics & Space,1.1.6. Sustainable development, global change & ecosystems,i. Sustainable energy systems,ii. Sustainable Surface Transport,iii. Global change & ecosystems
The entrepreneurial and scientific audience will have the chance to be informed by European Commission Officers and National Representatives & Experts about the opportunities existing for funding research and development on each of the major Thematic Priorities in parallel sessions. Special mention and further insight will be given to the new tools of the FP 6, the Integrated Projects and the Networks of Excellence.
The first in the series of these events will take place in Thessaloniki on January 8th and the second in Athens on January 9th, 2003 with identical programme and speakers.
The HELP-FORWARD Network / FORTH is the Greek National Contact Point (NCP) for seven of the priorities of the FP6, including the above mentioned. The events are organised in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Research & Technology.
