ESPRIT Research Reports Series
The "ESPRIT Basic Research Series" and "ESPRIT Research Reports" are two separate series of publications aimed at disseminating the results of research funded by the Commission's ESPRIT programme in the field of Information Technologies. The Basic Research Series covers the work funded by ESPRIT which is aimed at replenishing the reservoir of new knowledge and expertise on which industrial research must draw to ensure tomorrow's innovation, and to act as a major source of highly trained researchers. The series of reports is aimed at both academic and industrial researchers, and should help to achieve the widest possible dissemination of the results of basic research projects supported by ESPRIT. The Research Reports Series reports on a number of projects, and groups of projects, funded by ESPRIT in different domains. The series aims to help disseminate the many results of the hundreds of projects supported by ESPRIT, including products and services, tools and methodologies and international standards.
