Launch of SIWERM project, supported by the European Commission, DG TREN, within the Altener programme

The European Project SIWERM 'Development and promotion of Wind Energy on a regional and local scale' started in April.

The SIWERM project aims at carrying out an exchange of experience in the sector between the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and Greece with the objective of analysing the state of the art development in wind energy in these countries.
In addition to analysing the main social-economic barriers, the project aims to realise and provide Public Administrations with an efficient approach to the analysis and programming of interventions to develop wind energy in the territories in question, by identifying and experimenting pilot cases.
