The World Nano-Economic Congress, Singapore

The World Nano-Economic Congress (WNEC), taking place 13-14 October 2004 in Singapore, is a cooperative effort between Cientifica and the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore to bring the focus of nanotechnology and its impact upon industries to the Asian marketplace.

By combining the capabilities of Cientifica, the worlds largest supplier of nanotechnology information, and the EDB of Singapore, the WNEC Singapore reflects the interests and aims of the Asian marketplace as it examines the role of nanotechnology in its businesses.
The WNEC Singapore is the extension of the successful WNEC events that have run in Washington, DC, London, UK, and Munich, Germany.
As in these previous events, the WNEC Singapore will explore:, The path to commercialization of nanotechnology, How nanotechnology is impacting various industry groups, The role government can play in advancing the development of nanotechnology, The economic considerations for wider adoption of nanotechnology solutions within industry
The WNEC Singapore will provide insights into all of these areas with a particular emphasis on the Asian region.
