The CORDIS European Tour
A special CORDIS mobile facility is currently touring Europe with the aim of demonstrating to European enterprises the full range of CORDIS services - the shortest way to innovation. Officially launched in Luxembourg, on 16 December 1997, the tour is intended to provide on-site information on CORDIS to European businesses and organizations, as well as any interested members of the public. Following visits to London, to coincide with the beginning of the UK Presidency of the EU, and Bonn and Bochum (DE), the CORDIS mobile unit will be in Paris, France, from 26 to 29 January 1998. The unit will then move on to Milan, Italy (2-5 February) before returning North to Brussels (9-12 February) where the tour will be officially concluded. The CORDIS mobile unit contains four terminals with access to the CORDIS Web site and is open (9.00 to 18.00) free of charge, to all interested parties, for hands-on practice sessions and demonstrations of the various facilities offered by CORDIS. CORDIS Customer Service personnel manning the unit will be pleased to offer short training sessions and advice on how to get the most out of the facilities available.
