EuroScience.Net: a communications project of scientists and journalists on European science issues
At present, we present an overview of the science coverage in some European countries. As the network grows up, we want to inform and comment on science issues in Europe and its many states. We rely on open-source principles and follow an open-content policy. The project is independent of any organisation and is devoted to established journalistic standards. Target groups are journalists, scientists, policy makers and the public at large. We use a weblog system as an easy to maintain content management system and try to explore the weblog features in diverse science communications projects (for instance: ,http://www.insidescience.net/nanolog/). At present, we are looking for contributors to add their items to the platform from their country. We also provide a free weekly newsletter that inform on European science issues.
