Information Engineering - Projects and Perspectives 1994-1998
The European Commission, DG XIII, has recently published the third edition of the Information Engineering fact sheets. This document provides a comprehensive record of the work achieved in the Information Engineering sector of the Telematics Applications programme under the Fourth RTD Framework Programme (1994-1998). It provides information and a description of the 64 projects funded since 1994, including details of contacts, start dates and duration of projects. The projects fall into several categories, including: - Multimedia publishing and distribution; - Information management and retrieval; - Personalized content delivery; - Business, manufacturing and commerce; - Infrastructure and support. The document also contains details of new information engineering projects and information on completed projects.
