Council assent to ECSC aid for research and dissemination
Assent is given by the Council pursuant to Article 55(2)(c) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, to enable the Commission to grant financial aid of ECU 50,000,000 drawn from the levies provided for in Article 50 of that Treaty. Assent No 16/92 of 26 May 1992 concerns aid to be distributed as follows: - Community coal research programme in the areas of mining engineering and product upgrading (ECU 44,735,400); - Dissemination of information and associated costs (ECU 902,800); - Supplementary research programme in the areas of mining engineering and product upgrading (ECU 3,384,000 subject to the availability of funds).
