Digital Media is Alive and Kicking: The money-makers of Europe's e-Economy

This conference is the prime European meeting point for digital media companies & associations, digital content owners & aggregators as well as technology & network suppliers, their clients & users, public institutions involved in Information Society policy making, Western Europeans and Central Europeans. It will take place at the Hotel Plaza, Blvd Adolphe Max 118-126, 1000 Brussels.

The conference's opening session (16 June PM) will focus on the opportunities of EU enlargement for the digital media industries. Principal keynote speakers will be Mr. Pavel Gantar, Minister for the Information Society of Slovenia and Ms. Ruth Hieronymi, Member of the European Parliament.
On 17 June, a full-day programme will focus on eight of the most promising segments/issues of Europe's e-Economy:
- Electronic payments and the legal framework for a single payment area,- m-commerce,- Video On Demand and Pay Per View for PC and TV distribution,- Content development for multi-platform distribution,- Obtaining licences and right's clearances,- Distributing protected contents,- Value Added Services for ISPs in the European B-2-C market-place,- Integration of value-added products & services into B-2-B ISP-portfolios
