KTweb Workshop: Knowledge and content technology research - the past and the future

The first day will present a retrospective view on knowledge and content technology research undertaken under the Commission's Fifth Framework Programme (FP5), showcasing selected projects from unit E2 FP5, together with case studies from FP5 and possibly from other research programmes where there has been a successful commercial take-up of the research results.
The second day will look ahead to future research, with a preview of some of the new FP6 projects together with views on industry needs and on the 2004-2005 Work Programme.
There will be speakers from the European Commission, the research community, and from industry. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend.
