Workshop: "Why and how to use a subsidiary company to facilitate technology transfer"

The Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professionals (ASTP) organises together with Risoe National Laboratory a workshop on "Why and how to use a subsidiary company to facilitate technology transfer."

20 January 2005 - 20 January 2005

The event will take place at the Copenhagen University in Denmark on 20 January 2005.
The legislation in several European countries enables research institutions to establish wholly-owned companies to facilitate their technology transfer processes. The workshop, based on real life experience, will illustrate what you can achieve by using such a company and will discuss the challenges as well. The case of EMBL Enterprise Management Technology Transfer GmbH (EMBLEM) is used to set the stage.
Please note that there will be 30 seats available on a first come first serve base and the registration fee is 75 Euro for ASTP members and 125 Euro for non members.
For further information about the workshop or to download the registration form please visit the following website: http://www.astp.net(opens in new window) or contact the secretariat:
