Second FEHRL Road Research Meeting (FeRRM 05)

Starting on June 14th, the FEHRL Road Research Meeting (FeRRM 05) will bring together, for three days in Brussels, all those interested in the quest for solutions addressing the broad range of road issues.

14 June 2005 - 16 June 2005

FeRRM 05 is organised by FEHRL, the organisation of national road research centres, with the support of the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme. As a core member of both ERTRAC and ECTP, the technology platforms addressing road transport and construction issues respectively, FEHRL is opening the doors of this year's FeRRM to a broader audience consisting of policy-decision makers, business developers and scientists.
The event is structured around topical strategic and technical sessions where leading experts using practical examples will provide insight into the needs in road research and, ultimately, contribute to the formulation of the research conducted during the timeframe of the Seventh Research Framework Programme.
In addition, the exhibition space will act as a focal point for interaction for conference participants. FeRRM 05 will host satellite meetings gathering partners of FEHRL project consortia.
Delegates will also find out more about the new conference initiative "Transport Research Arena 2006", which is jointly organised by the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR), the European Road Transport Research Advisory Committee (ERTRAC) and the European Commission.
